POSITION: Key Grip

I was hired to work as the "Key Grip" on a short film called "Switchboard". The short is a fictional comedy that revolves around the homeless community. We shot the short on the RED camera with a Fisher dolly and full grip truck. The day I worked, we were shooting at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles, CA. 
The weather was not playing nice and we had to keep covering the equipment to protect it from rain. Regardless of our efforts however, at the end of the day, we did not get everything shot that we would have liked. All of the lighting was done with natural light using a 12x12 silk, 8x8 griff, 6x6 black/white, and a number of different reflectors and modifiers. It was a pretty fun shoot.
